oh no.. teenagers skateboarding and smoking pot in back stairways and alleys… those poor people in sq. hill… get over yourselves… when elderly people start getting beat up and drug deals are going down both in daylight they can start complaining
I was suggesting that skateboarding isn’t a “real” issue. I think PO has it right. Our issues are a bit more disconcerting. I would (and I am sure many of us) like to have some beat cops as well. Maybe we need to stand together as a unit and put the pressures on the city too.
PO and CTRN — I don’t know you — so I won’t know if you are present — but I ask that you come to a safety meeting next Wednesday 11/5 7PM at the enior Center on Virginia Avenue. Everyone is invited.
Does a formal invitation need to have been extended to all (people) in order to attend these meetings? I would like to attend and bring my friend Al. Thank you.
Everyone is welcomed — bring your friend and for that matter as many friends as you’d like.
We need to get together, listen to what the problems are and strategize. Not everyone has the correct information — just tidbits from the infamous mount rumor mill.
BTW, I am not sure about what you mean when you say formal invitation to attend these meetings? This is the first meeting I have organized this year in relation to crime. So, I’m not sure about other meetings? If you’d like to email me mrossiter72@aol.com or we can keep in this thread — if MG doesn’t mind?

I think CTRN means the frequency and types of crime issues that some of the Hilltop neighborhoods have. Right, CTRN?

If I come to the public safety meeting and defend Squirrel Hill, will I get beat up?
