We told ourselves when we started this site that we were going to give it 6 months to see if it would catch on. Well it did. The response has been overwhelming.
To celebrate the growth of the site we decided to make some changes that we think all of you will enjoy.
First, a new design. Although the old design was nice, it had it’s limitations and we wanted to have a design that would speak to a broader audience and appeal to people of all ages and one that could grow as we do. This new design you will find is simpler in aesthetics and way more complex on the back end. One great feature of the new design is that the header now includes a new section called LATEST NEWS. It will be the place we put fast, quick posts about things going on in the news in Mt. Washington and Pittsburgh.
Second and most exciting of all is the addition of the MESSAGE BOARDS. This section of the site will serve as a place for people to share ideas and start topics on their own. If your familiar with forums or bulletin boards, you’ll love this feature. Right now it’s young and will grow. If you have a forum or group that you think would be a good addition let us know! We set up basic topics to get started so everyone can see how it will work. I’m sure it will evolve fast.
So welcome and we would like to thank all of the loyal readers who have made this experiment a smashing success. Enjoy!

Latest News!! Mark your calendars. Friday July 11. A fundraiser for the MWCDC will be held at Peter Karlovich and Steven Herforth’s home at 207 Bailey Avenue. Music by Harold Betters. More info to follow….
