Filed under: Revitalization.A new book by Don Carter, Director of CMU’s Remaking Cities Institute once again touts Pittsburgh (among other northeastern cities) as a model for future growth. He predicts the decline of ‘sand cities’ in the west that rely on resources that have to be brought in from other places (water for one).
