Post-Worthy Comment About The Edge

Filed under: Community, Development.We wanted to draw your attention to one of the most recent comments because it relates to all of the discussions we’ve been having about The Edge property. The owner of the property, Mr. Francis Hurite, will be appearing in court tommorrow for a code violation. It’s open to the public if you’re so inclined. And if you go, please let us know what happens.

Because of work I am unable to attend; I pulled the MW properties out because the others are Beechview and Brookline.

James Hawk, 464 Edith, 19th Ward, Codes 105.1, 301.3, 307.1 [Major slum lord and habitual offender. He owns slum property on Southern Avenue that needs to be razed. He’s a regular in housing court.]

Dr. Hurite’s case regarding The Edge has been postponed until August 28 at 1:00.
