The Monongahela Incline was opened on May 28, 1870 and almost 7 years later the Duquesne Incline was opened on May 20, 1877. So the Monongahela Incline is 139 years old and the Duquesne Incline is 132 years old. The Duquesne Incline is the longest at 793 feet while the Monongahela Incline is 635 feet.
