Allentown CDC & the Mt. Washington CDC with the Friends of Grandview Park are planning a 100th celebration of the park in October 2009. Need people with exciting ideas & also information, old pictures, and stories they would like to share. Looking for local talent to join in the fun. We are planning a turn of the century theme. If you're interested please attend the meeting on Tuesday November 18 at 6:00pm in the MWCDC office located at 301 Shiloh Street.

MMK Thats great! Please e-mail me at dianedelmer@comcast .net and we will put you on our e-mail list. We've met 3 times already. The event is going to be in Oct. 2009. We just about decided on a turn of the century theme. Puppet show, maybe magic, carousel, market place, music, food etc. Now we need sponsors and volunteers to make it all happen. Our next mtg is Jan. 20 at the MWCDC office 6pm. Hope to hear from you!
