Well I hope it made you look!

I saw this today in PopCity and wanted to share. They are expanding and we have the available space. I think a Sharp Edge Mt. Washington would make a lot of sense and would bring a lot of town folks up to the Mount that normally wouldn't come up (from the city even). I'm jealous of Peters. Yell

Pittsburgh’s favorite specialty beer spot has added a fourth location to its roster. The Sharp Edge Brasserie—part
of the popular pub family that includes the Emporium in Friendship, the
Creekhouse in Crafton and the Bistro in Sewickley—will serve its first
thirsty patrons on May 12. (read the rest)

A Sharp Edge on the Mount would be phenomenal. However, it seems as if Sharp Edge is moving more toward opening suburban locations. I wonder why?

I work for the company that does the tenant rep work for Sharp edge. I think Mt Washington would be to close to Crafton for a new location. I will float the idea at work but i believe they are looking in other parts of the City and farther out to draw new patrons. Also with the new six packs and dogs we should get a wide selection of beers that are currently unavailable at the “bars” on the MT.

THANKS!

I know that Packs and Dogs might pose a little too much competition but they need one in the city or within walking distance to the city. I'm shocked they haven't went downtown yet….

I hope packs and dogs has beer on tap, don't think they are though…

Speaking of Packs and Dogs I peeked in today and they are look really close to opening.. i love that they have small 2 person booths in the front.. way cool

Does anyone know if they are going to protect the health of their employees and go NON SMOKING??? I think a small space like that and having the kitchen basically right by the bar you would have to make it non smoking or the food might taste like an ash tray.
