Hi, I grew up in the Mt. and now live in Atlanta. Was wondering where to go to see any pics of the old neighborhood? Seems like much change has occured since 1987!

There are some pictures on the MWCDC's new Mainstreets website http://www.vuplus.org
Other than that I don't know of many sites that have old pics of Mt. Washington. Do you have any interesting pics of the “old” Mt. Washington. Please share them with us if you can. Some of us newer residents would love to get a glimpse of what it used to look like.

Bobby, Thanks for that link! I'll have to get the old shoe box out for pics but I do remember, Bard's Ice cream on the corner of Boggs and Wyoming, playing “pinball” at Fenton's, Josephine's Pizza, and all the “Mom and Pop” stores throughout the neighborhood.
