I did not see anything on the 15211.org about a hearing at the Planning Commission this week about a planned development on the landlocked lot at 6 Neff Street.

Seems  another guy from California wants to move to Mt Washington (please check-out the house located at 96 Wyoming Street, that has been For Sale since 2005 and no one has bought, it was remodeled by a Calif guy who thought a Cali style house with a partial view of the City would be a Show Stopper…maybe not)    The new guy wants to build a Cali style triplex Condo on  Landlocked 6 Neff Street and extended it passed the required set-backs and also build 25% of it on a area that is designated PARK lot and that part will be up on concrete pillar and not even on the ground.

The builder did not bother to notify any of the surrounding neighbors who's land is actually touching his lot…he contacted people on Boggs Ave.  But by accident some of the residents did hear about the Planning Commission meeting on Thursday and 8 people were in attendance to voice their concerns about this project.

The Cali guys want to build a Three Condo building that is 44 feet high, on pillars that extend over the hillside, he wants to ignore the required set backs….and he also does not feel that having a STREET is a requirement either.  So we have NO STREET, NO SETBACKS, NO REAL GROUND, NO REGARDS FOR THE NEIGHBORS, NO WATER RUN-OFF PLAN, NO CATCH BASIN, NO FIRE HYDRANT, NO WATER OR SEWAGE, NO ELECTRIC, NO GAS…..but yet Mr California loves the idea of building a cantilever home that extends over his lot line.  Can anyone see something wrong here??

Did anyone tell this California guy that there are 10 building lots for sale on Grandview that actually are on a real street?  Or does the Calif-guy even know of Grandview Ave??

But there was a meeting this week.  I kind of thought 15211.org would keep the residents of Mt Washington posted on these kinds of happenings so that we can attend these meetings….pro or con….but let our voices be heard.

I would have posted something before the meeting, but since my property actually touch his properties, I was not notified of the hearing.
