It went. It was my first time at any event with the MWCDC. I was surprised more people werent there. I think because it wasn't advertised. I didnt hear about it anywhere but here.

I went, it was nice to actually meet and talk to a few people face to face.
I have a few ideas I'd like to put out there for the next meeting, if and when it takes place.

Why don't you have anything at Redbeards? I go there with my friends all the time who are young and from Mount Wash.

We all love Redbeards but there are other place in the Mt. Washington area that some people might not know about. So we try to “spread the wealth” so to speak and create awareness of some of the other area restaurants and bars that have a happy hour.

Makes sense. Why can't these happy hours happen more often in the summer? I don't know about you, but I get out more when it's warm. I dont' know what traffic is to this site, but if you posted notices about the gatherings, maybe more people would come. I think its worth a try!

We've been working on putting together a monthly HH event hosted by 15211.org and it's sponsors.
Stay tuned. June will probably be the first month we do this.
Our main goal will be to try to get younger people 20 and 30 somethings more invovled in the 15211 organizations and the interests of our neighborhood.
