Good Time Charlie. I believe that's the name of the ice cream truck with the obnoxious trolley/old fire truck bell that cruises around here in the wee hours of the morning.
Anobody else think it's strange that he rolls around at 10a.m. every day….even when the kiddies were in school? Or am I just paranoid?
Does anyone actually buy ice cream at 10a.m.?

Icre Cream truck drivers are all creepy. The fact that his name is Good Time Charlie takes his creepyness to a whole new level.

If you think 10am is bad, when I was living in the Northside he would drive by my place at 11pm blaring that bell. I've heard a few people say that he sells drugs in addittion to ice cream which sounds like a stretch, but not a huge one.

Gee, I wonder if anyone of these people got the license plate and either called the company or better yet the police.

Whew. With all due respect, it sounds as though some people who post on this blog have the Pittsburgh police on speed dial.
Are we really jumping out of our seats to call them over “rumors?”
Personally, I've seen the ice cream truck in Knoxville in the early afternoon. Maybe his route schedule just places him on The Mount at 10 a.m. Children playing outside on my block last Saturday morning gathered around to purchase ice cream cones.
So they eat ice cream in the morning . . . . it doesn't bother me.

yes we do have the police on speed dial, ssb 70.! How do we expect to get more police presence up here! Why do you think the police station is moving to Allentown. Has anyone noticed we now have a beat cop on Bailey Ave.? Not sure what days or times, but the Co-Gos and Fox's Pizza sure have been quiet. Lets just hope it continues.
