From the Post Gazette:
Mt. Washington Farmers Market, Sweetbriar Street in the old Giant Eagle parking lot, 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tues. Opens May 13.
I guess they decided to move the market from the church on Grandview to the old Giant Eagle. I thought this area was being redeveloped into townhomes though. Anyone know the status on the SweetBriar townhomes? I wonder if there will be a conflict?

In the last issue of the Greentree times there was an ad from Citiparks and it listed the farmers market at St. Marys…

I just wanted to let you all know that the Famers Market will be held at Saint Mary of the Mount's Parking lot. The Citiparks sign was hung on the pole in front of the rectory.

I went to the Farmer's Market yesterday at St. Mary's. It was a bit small, I think there were only 5 vendors there, selling honey, baked goods, produce, Greek food, and candles. They said there are normally a couple others there who sell cheesecake and spices. I wish that this market could be improved upon, there is so much potential, but there just aren't very many vendors.

Does anyone know who manages the Southside farmer's market? They seem to have more, particularly produce. Maybe those vendors would be interested.
