Ask and you shall receive

Bud made a comment today about an annoying e-mail he got recently and asked, “why can’t we use this site for that” and the people at 15211.org are listening.

The “that” Bud was referring to is to find some way on this site for people to post:

  • stuff for sale
  • immediate crime watch issues
  • other meetings & events
  • a place to share ideas
  • and.. well who knows.. anything
  • also, they want this without getting annoying emails all day on their time

That’s where we come into play. We’ve been meaning to do this for months so I have decided to make an announcement about some changes coming to 15211.org in the next month or so.

First, we will be doing a redesign very soon. Nothing major, just some graphical things and a little rearranging and cleaning up.

Second, (this one is for you Bud) we are going to add a forum to the site for anyone and everyone to use. I don’t have the specifics now but this will be happening in the next week or so. This forum will have topics on it like a bulletin board and could possibly have something similar to the penny saver or whatever it evolves into. It’s everyone’s to use and should be fun.

Third, well there is something else coming soon, but you’ll just have to wait for that one. ;)

So keep an eye out for some changes, and if you end up getting one of those e-mails, please forward it to us so we can see what it is at 15211org@gmail.com THANKS!

Good news all around. Love this site already but your new ideas also sound great. Can’t wait.

I saw in the current issue of ViewPoint (also another favorite of mine) that the firm of Dewey & Kaye was hired to assist in the search for an Executive Director. Good thing it was this firm and not “Dewey, Cheatum & Howe” of the Three Stooges fame.

Smile, Smile (Don’t know how to do those happy faces)
